In Duplicate File Detective, Global Preferences are those not directly associated with the current project. Global preferences are not saved and loaded as part of a project, and are in effect regardless of what project is currently loaded.
To access Global Preferences, click the Tools menu and select Global Preferences (
). This function is also accessible via the main application toolbar.
