Event Log

If Duplicate File Detective encounters any non-fatal errors during the duplicate file searching process, it will record them in its internal Event Log.

When the execution of a project completes, if the Event Log has any entries, a special notification will appear in the lower right hand corner of your Windows desktop. The notification will alert you to the presence of the warnings or errors accumulated in the Event Log, and allow you to access them.

You can also access the Event Log via the main View menu. It will only be enabled if some type of error occurred during duplicate file search operations.
