Duplicate search report results can be filtered, so that you see only a specific set of duplicate files that contain the specified filter text.
Once the duplicate search process completes, the Filter (
) section of the toolbar (also available from the Results menu) will become enabled.
To filter the on-screen duplicate results, type some text into the filter edit box and press enter. The duplicate results report will be updated to show only entries that contain the filter text you entered.
You can also click the Filter toolbar button, in which case a new window appears and allows you to enter filter text. When using this means of entering filter text, a history of your entries is maintained and accessible through a drop-down box.
Click the Clear button in the filtering toolbar group to remove the currently applied filter.
